Two University of Missouri School of Medicine students, Taylor Bosworth and Michaela Thomson, were among the inductees of Mizzou’s six secret honorary societies at 2025 Tap Day. Bosworth and Thomson were both tapped into the Rollins Society, honoring them for their service, leadership and commitment to the Mizzou community.

The Mizzou tradition dates to 1927, when the first Tap Day was conducted on Francis Quadrangle by the columns. The Rollins Society recognizes graduate and professional students who’ve significantly advanced the well-being of self-defined communities beyond the scope of their academic work.
Members of Mizzou’s six secret honorary societies – Omicron Delta Kappa, LSV, Mortar Board, QEBH, Rollins Society and Mystical Seven – choose new “taps” based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, scholarship, leadership and service.
The new members’ identities were unveiled during a ceremony at Jesse Hall on April 25. Congratulations to Taylor, Michaela and all the 2025 Tap Day inductees!
